The course is set on a very picturesque and historic promontory just below Monreith Bay. It is laid out on coastal land and is a very tricky little 9 hole course with plenty of interest. If you can play this course to your handicap then you are doing well!

During the week it is fairly easy to get on to the course and it is not normally necessary to book a tee time. Golfing parties accepted.

How to get to the Course
3 miles south of Port William off the A747.
From A75 heading west turn left on to the A714 signed Wigtown and Port William. At Port William turn left on to the A714 for about 3 miles passing through Monreith. The Golf Course is signposted to your right.
From Stranraer take the A75 until you pass Glenluce on left over the crest of the hill, turn right off the A75 for Port William and Whithorn. This is the A747 continue to Port William then proceed as above.
