Award Winning Pasta!
FOR THE second year running, a Stranraer restaurant has shown the rest of the country how pasta should be made and served.
Brothers Douglas and Massimo Lisi of L'Aperitif collected The Pasta Foodservice award at the annual Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Association awards at he Lancaster Hotel in London last week.
And in the process they headed other short list candidates, Piccolino in Manchester and Spaghetti House in London.
Last year the pair captured the Pizza Restaurant of the Year award. Massimo told the Free Press this week:
" We knew we were on the short list. That is why we went to London to the ceremony.
"It was a wonderful ceremony and we are absolutely delighted to have won. "
