Midnight Opening for New Harry Potter Book

HARRY Potter fans will be queued outside WHSmith in Stranraer at midnight on Friday to grab a copy of the Deathly Hallows.

The long wait for the final episode in the Harry Potter series will come to an end.

The town store are helping their customers get hold of the book as soon as it is launched by opening their store at midnight.

The official launch time is 12.01 a.m. on Saturday when the first copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be sold.

Store manager Steven Johnston said: "We are really excited to find out what happens to Harry Potter and his friends in this book.

"It is tipped to be the biggest selling book of 2007 and we hope that lots of local Harry fans will join us as we count down to midnight."

The book will not be delivered to the store until Friday.
