Tomorrow's Inventors
A GROUP from Primary Six at Rephad School in Stranraer took part in
the regional final of Tomorrow's Inventors run by Careers Scotland.
This is a national competition through which youngsters develop and extend skills for the future.
Rephad came third to win individual prizes of £10, a goody bag, certificates and medals. They also won £50 for their school.
The 13 groups taking part had a remit to create a useful invention with Rephad choosing one to improve the environment.
Their project, Linking 3000, was a network of stations, which transported lorries.
