Public Meeting to try to Save Post Office

A PUBLIC meeting is being arranged to try to help save Sheuchan Street Post Office in Stranraer.

And a motion has been tabled for the next full meeting of Dumfries and Galloway Council calling for local authority support.

Councillor John Dougan has asked the Wigtown Area Committee to host the meeting after the Post office branch was put on a hit list this week for closure.
