Old Folks' Home Plan for Garrick
THE GARRICK Hospital in Stranraer could soon be demolished to make way for a 50-bedroom nursing home.
RJM Developments (Scotland) have this week submitted plans to Dumfries and Galloway Council, which would see the disused building replaced by a two-storey care home.
The developer company are based in County Down, Northern Ireland and Director Alan McKinney said it was the culmination of six years' hard work in the area.
