Bill and Adrian Lift Film to BAFTA Success

STRANRAER weightlifting pensioner Bill McFadyen has added another accolade to his haul of gold medals as the star of a BAFTA winning film.

Wigtown director Adrian McDowall used Bill as the inspiration of his film Ma Bar, which scooped Scotland's top award in the short film category at the weekend.
