Mum takes Son to Police over School Damage

A LOCAL mother took her own son to see police after he confessed to a crime that led to a public backlash.

The Free Press reported last week that Belmont Primary was attacked by vandals, smashing a dead pupil's memorial bench and killing all the wildlife in the school pond with heavy paving slabs.

Pupils and their parents quickly condemned the incident and a number of people came forward to police with the names of suspects.
