Waterfront Master Plan on its Way

A NATIONALLY acclaimed consultancy group has been hired to help determine the future of Stranraer waterfront and town centre.

Dumfries and Galloway Council selected the firm from a list of candidates who expressed an interest in becoming part of the waterfront redevelopment project.

The consultants, Smith Scott Mullan Associates (SSMA), have already worked on major regeneration projects such as the Leith Docks project in Edinburgh.
