Company Interest in Stranraer Waterfront

TWO "serious" expressions of interest from the private sector to get involved in the Stranraer Waterfront project have been received by Dumfries and Galloway Council, it has been confirmed to the Wigtown Area Committee.

In a report, Group Manager for Economic Regeration at the Council, Tony Fitzpatrick added that a stakeholder event was being planned for the New Year and Enterprise Minister Jim Mather had indicated that he would be coming to Wigtownshire to attend.
