Hospital Confirms Superbug Case

NHS HEALTH chiefs have confirmed a patient at the Galloway Community Hospital in Stranraer is suffering from a potentially fatal super bug.

Measures have been put in place to try to prevent further spread of the bug Clostridium Difficile (C-Diff).

Suspicion began at the end of last week that the patient, who cannot be named, was showing symptoms.
