Marina officially opens in Stranraer

A CELEBRATION was held in Stranraer on Wednesday to mark the official opening of Stranraer Harbour's new marina.

Local authority officials, members of the community and guests will met at the opening of the facility, which has already proved a hit.

A programme of different activities was arranged for the opening, including demonstrations of various water sports by school children and a guided tour of the marina.

The new marina boasts 53 new pontoons.
