Enterprise Minister to Broker Waterfront
Talks
TALKS bringing together all the stakeholders in the Stranraer
Waterfront Regeneration project are set to be brokered
by the Scottish Government following a meeting between
Enterprise Minister, Jim Mather and two local business
leaders.
The meeting, which had been arranged by the District of
Wigtown Chamber of Commerce, took place in Glasgow last
week.
The Minister met with District of Wigtown Chamber President,
Peter Jeal and David Taylor, Chairman of the Stranraer
and District Chamber of Commerce, to discuss a range of
issues including the Waterfront, support for small businesses
in Wigtownshire and infrastructure issues.
