Parents Campaign Again For School Speed Cut

THE PARENT Council at Sandhead Primary have reignited their campaign to reduce the speed limit outside the school.

They feel the 60 mph zone poses a danger to children going in and out of the building.

Dumfries and Galloway Council has been unconvinced of the need for a speed reduction on that stretch of the Cornerhouse to Drummore road despite years of lobbying.
