NHS boss receives Darataigh warning

HEALTH bosses have been warned that the closure of the Stranraer respite care unit Darataigh will only be tolerated if an equivalent or better service is in place.

The chief executive and medical director of NHS Dumfries and Galloway were given the clear message in the town on Thursday.
