Dick's Hill work ready to start in April

THE FIRST phase in the regeneration of Dick's Hill in Stranraer is expected to get underway in April.

Houses on Murrayfield Gardens and John Simpson Drive will be the first to be demolished to make way for a new multi-million pound modern development.

The scheme, being carried out by Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership (DGHP), is the largest ongoing regeneration project in Scotland.
