Windfarm Lined up for Wigtownshire
A GIANT windfarm of 130 turbines is being lined up for Wigtownshire - with a maximum blade height of an astonishing 145 metres.
Leading windfarm developer Scottish Power Renewables (SPR) has targeted an area known as Kilgallioch forest with the development size estimated at ten kilometres by nine kilometres.
It will cross from Dumfries and Galloway into South Ayrshire and lies next to an SPR windfarm already given consent at Arecleoch.
