Town's young people need better facilities

YOUNG people in Stranraer need better facilities to keep them entertained, according to a local councillor.

Councillor Willie Scobie said "hundreds if not thousands" of young people in the area had benefited from facilities like the skate park on London Road.

But he added the facility was currently in a bad state and wants safety at the park improved.
