Disabled Man Wins Battle for Justice
A DISABLED man has won a four-year battle to prove the local authority failed to give him the help he rightfully deserved.
Ian McGhie's complaint was this week supported by the Scottish Public Service's Ombudsman who deemed there was a "clear failure" to support both his and his family's needs.
And Dumfries and Galloway Council has been ordered to pay the Stranraer resident £5000 to mark his distress over the delay in dealing with his case.
