Businessman Hits out at Pumping Station Bid
SCOTTISH Water are to enter into talks with a businessman amid fears the vision for Stranraer waterfront is about to be shattered.
The organisation this week lodged a planning application with Dumfries and Galloway Council to build a Water Waste Pumping Station on the Ulsterbus Depot car park at Port Rodie this week.
The two-storey high building would be in the middle of the proposed waterfront area, which is due to be developed if Stena Line move to their proposed site at Old House Point, north of Cairnryan.
