One reported in crackdown on boy racers
POLICE carrying out an operation to tackle so called boy racers and antisocial driving in towns and villages have only found one driver committing an offence.
But officers have acknowledged a problem with "big bore" exhausts. According to Inspector David McCallum:
"Officers very quickly became annoyed by the noise created and their attention was continually drawn to these vehicles not because they were committing offences but rather because of the noise they were generating."
