Pupils back at school after glass accident

ABOUT 600 Stranraer Academy pupils were sent home on Thursday after a glass panel fell from the roof and smashed in a corridor.

S1 to S3 pupils were released for health and safety reasons and only returned to class on Monday morning.

A spokeswoman for Dumfries and Galloway Council said it was still investigating.
