Success as Stranraer grabs £1.3M

STRANRAER has secured nearly £1.3 million in a bid to help regenerate the town's centre.

The money, from the Scottish Government's Town Centre Regeneration Fund will go towards the creation of aCastle Square.

Plans for the area at the Castle of St John include a town centre events space, along with improvements to the routes to the area.
