Duo take Golf Buggy on drunken A75 drive

A DRUNKEN DUO were caught on the A75 in a golf buggy after launching a "hair brained" scheme to drive in the dark from Portpatrick to Dumfries.

Their escapade lasted an hour before they were brought to a halt by police officers.

They made it as far as Glenluce at a top speed of 15 mph.
