Pumping Station is Finally Approved

PLANS for a pumping station to be built on the Stranraer waterfront have been given the go ahead.

The proposal was put before councillors on Wednesday for the third time.

And they gave the Scottish Water plan for the site on Harbour Street the green light, with the exception of Stranraer councillor Willie Scobie.
