Xmas
Peace Appeal
KINDHEARTED
KIDS at Park Primary School in Stranraer have appealed for
peace in the world instead of a visit from Santa this year.
‘Thinking
About Some-body Else’ was a project organised by class
teacher Mrs McLelland where P4/5 pupils were asked to consider
the needs of others this Christmas.
Pupil Allan
Broadfoot wrote:
"Dear Santa,
instead of giving me presents this year I would like you
to stop wars and stop them quick, because we children can
not go on the street because they are thinking we are going
to get hurt.
"We need wars
to stop fast because people die and it is sad. Please Santa,
there could be other people that are dying quick so stop
these wars please."

"Dear Santa,
this year, instead of giving me presents I would like you
to give the homeless people, the ones that live on the streets,
a nice warm home, some clothes and a bit of money to buy
food and things with."
