Diana's Dress in Stranraer
ONE OF Princess
Diana's dresses will be on display in Stranraer on Friday
night. In a major coup for the area, the dress, now owned
by Graeme and Briege Mackenzie who live in Bridge of Weir,
will be the centrepiece at a cheese and wine evening at the
North West Castle Hotel in aid of Children First. Persuading
the owners to allow such an attraction to travel to Stranraer
is a feather in the cap of Maureen Parker, secretary of the
Stranraer Action Group for Children First.
Knowing of their
interest in the charity, she contacted Mr and Mrs Mackenzie
and they said they would be delighted to bring the dress to
the function.
