Children in Need

STRANRAER Academy’s annual fundraising event for Children In Need will take a different format this year, with all activities taking place in the afternoon.

Both students and staff are to join together in an attempt to stage the school’s biggest ever charity event. Pupils will still have to register for the event on Friday, 17th November and it is hoped this year’s fundraiser will set a positive image for the Academy in the local community.

The day kicks off with pupils paying for the suspension of uniforms for the day. Several Stranraer companies have also contributed goods for the event and the day looks set to be a great success.
