New Records for Santa’s Float
This year’s Round Table Santa’s Float has been a resounding success, with Santa and his volunteer helpers travelling the area from Portpatrick to Cairnryan and from Glenluce to Leswalt, as well as throughout Stranraer,
collecting £3332.76 for charity, the largest ever total. This year the collection will be divided between the YMCA and the McMillan Nurses, all for local use.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the support of the community, who contribute generously to the collectors. A big “Thank You!” to you all, with a special mention to the people who made last Tuesday night’s collection our biggest ever – well over £600.
The Round Table would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New
Year.
