Family Room at Park School

PARK SCHOOL in Stranraer is delighted to welcome its new toy library to the new family room.

The library has a wonderful selection of toys on loan at a small price and was formerly based at the John Niven Campus. The service is funded by WRVS and operated by the business administration students every Wednesday from 11.15 a.m. to 12 noon and 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. A wonderful selection of toys are now on loan for a small charge.

The family room is the also perfect base for the CAPER book lending scheme and also the new initiative to introduce computer skills to parents through the Adult Education Service and family learning co-ordinator Annie McMahon.

The college, WRVS and the school are working in partnership and hope to expand the library to eventually offer a service to children with special needs.
