Charity BBQ

“SHINE A LIGHT" charity in partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Council, Leisure and Sport section had a barbecue and Fun Day at Agnew Park, Stranraer.

"Shine a Light" Helping children with Cancer is a voluntary body in Belfast which is organised by Billy McCrory.

This charity was set up to provide children and their parents the chance to experience the good times as well as the bad by organising trips and outings for both parents and children to help them through their ordeals.

The charity also tries to give memories that cancer will never take away.

For the second year running all children and parents who attended the event had a great day. Overall there were 50 children with their parents having fun and enjoying themselves. Children and their parents came from Belfast, Yorkhill Hospital, Glasgow and children from the local Aird Unit in Stranraer came along to join in in the fun.
