Christened
at Leswalt Church
LITTLE
James Muir was christened at Leswalt Church on Sunday, 9th
September.
The
following day, the 11-month-old tot headed back home to New
York with his parents Tom and Rosalind Muir.
Dad
Tom (33) was brought up in Stranraer but now works at a university
in the city which was shattered by terrorists last week.
Thankfully,
the Muirs were unhurt in the atrocity, but the rest of the
family back in Stranraer faced an agonising four-hour wait
before news of their welfare filtered back across the Atlantic.
This
week, James' grandparents, George and Cathy Muir spoke to
the "Free Press" about how the dramatic events unfolded from
their point of view.
They
watched with horror as the news came through on the television
at their home in Stranraer's Mayfield Avenue.
Just
two days previously they had waved goodbye to Tom, Rosalind
and James, following the christening at Leswalt.
