MedaL hopes for curler McMillan

STRANRAER curler Hamilton McMillan will lead Britain's medal hopes in the sport in next year's Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City in the United States.

And he will join team manager Hew Chalmers who farms at Craigencrosh, Stoneykirk, in hopes of making it gold.

Hamilton's team, consisting of Warwick Smith, Perth, Ewan McDonald, Inverness, Peter Louden, Perth and Norman Brown, Stranraer, was this week nominated as the British curling entry at the Games.
