Explosives
in Glenluce
A REVOLUTIONARY explosive replacement as safe as a party popper
but which can rip rock apart is set to be made near Glenluce.
Behind
the project is the system's inventor Ray Townley-Malyon. And
all he needs is the go-ahead from Dumfries and Galloway Council
and he is ready to go into production.
Alternative
Excavation Systems Ltd., of which Ray is managing director,
presently gets the explosive replacement made by an outside
firm.
But
it has created so much interest around the world that he wants
to be involved in its manufacture himself.
And
he reckons that it will create three jobs on the manufacturing
side almost straight away with between ten and 12 on making
and demonstrating the product within a year.
