Funds raised for Macmillan Cancer Relief

COFFEE was drunk in many locations on Friday to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Relief and to ensure their place in the Guinness Book of Records for the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.

Stranraer committee held their event in Soleburn Garden Centre at the invitation of John and Fiona McClintock.

Over 200 cups of coffee were drunk and £898.81 was raised. The tearoom was also offered for two hours in the afternoon and proved to be just as busy as in the morning, with continuous chatter and good fun prevailing.
