DAY went with a real bang in New Luce this year after local
youngster James Martin presented his mum with an unexploded
family who stay at "Dran Muir" in the village are now recovering
from the shock of what was a potentially deadly incident.
Carolann - who quickly raised the alarm - said
"Most people get chocolates or flowers for Valentine's Day,
but I got a grenade!
am laughing about it now but it is quite frightening when
you think what could have happened."
The drama unfolded at lunchtime when James (9) was out playing
in his garden during the half-term school holiday.
