Call
to March
STRANRAER Against Drugs have issued a rallying call for support
ahead of this weekend’s anti-drugs march.
The
pressure group want to see as many people take to the streets
as possible in what will be the second such event in the town
this year.
Organisers
are hoping that the protest will — like the last one — be
peaceful and are keen that folk from throughout the region,
young and old, will take the opportunity to lend their presence
to the local anti-drugs movement.
Marchers
are being invited to gather at The Breastwork car park — the
old SeaCat terminal — in Stranraer at 2 p.m. this coming
Saturday.
The
march, led by pipers, will take a route through the town,
culminating with a rally on the Castle Green where a number
of speakers will each give a short speech on their thoughts
regarding the drugs issue.
