PUDSEY BEAR is on his way to Stranraer!

As part of this year's Children In Need fundraiser, a BBC film crew are coming to town on Friday, 16th November to film at the Millennium Centre.

The coup for the town - the BBC will film at only three or four locations in the whole of Scotland - came about following discussions between the BBC and Stranraer Chamber of Commerce concluded just this week.

Now a get-together is to be held to discuss ways to make sure the Stranraer event is among the best in Britain.

The TV crew will film all night in the Millennium Centre from around 7 p.m. until about midnight.

Obviously only the highlights will go out on air, so the hope is that people can come up with original and entertaining ideas that will give Stranraer the best chance of maximum "air time".
