Portpatrick looking for Talkers

PORTPATRICK EVENTS is looking for talkers.

One of the most interesting parts of the forthcoming Donaghadee-Portpatrick Lighthouses Festival will be the amateur radio and TV link between the two towns.

The Wigtownshire Amateur Radio Club and Ulster company Wyzcom have teamed up to establish a live audio visual connection between temporary studios which will be sited at the lighthouses in Donaghadee and Portpatrick.

The link will open on Friday of next week with groups of Portpatrick and Donaghadee primary school children and staff talking to each other via TV.
