Isaac
invented Security Window
LOCHANS man Isaac Forsyth is looking to bring jobs to Stranraer
with a life-saving security window system he has invented.
Isaac (54) is trying to persuade an industrialist to put his
invention into production.
And
he is prepared to lose out on some of the cash rewards if
a factory to make his invention is set up in the town.
Viewers
of "London’s Burning" on ITV on Sunday night saw how a woman
died after she was unable to get out of a flat because of
security bars on the window.
Isaac, who lives at 26 Thorn Street, Lochans, has invented
a complete window system with security bars that will drop
out in an alert, allowing those inside the building out and
firefighters and other emergency services in.
He
has called it SALEM – Save a Life Every Moment.
"Thousands of people die every year all over the world,
trapped in buildings by bars on windows",
he told the "Free Press" this week.
"My invention could have saved them."
