Scottish Schools champions

CURLERS from Stranraer Academy have been crowned Scottish Schools champions.

At Murrayfield Ice Rink at the weekend the team, skipped by John Wilson, had an extra end 8-7 win over a Lockerbie team in the final of the Bank of Scotland Scottish Schools Championships.

Academy team consists of Iain Chalmers, Angus Wemyss, John Wilson and Michael McColm.
