TWENTY-FIVE

the course of Monday and Tuesday following Operation Emperor
- the weekend police blitz on the local drug trade.
In
total, 28 people were arrested as a result of the massive
operation which involved one hundred police officers from
Dumfries and Galloway and Strathclyde Forces some of whom
the Free Press understands worked undercover in local
drugs circles for the last year.
Of
the 25 who appeared in court this week to face drugs-related
