Invasion of Vintage Lorries

PORTPATRICK will be invaded by vintage lorries next month.

Around 80 are expected in the village around 5 p.m. on Saturday, 13th July and they will stay overnight before leaving on the second stage of their rally around Galloway the following morning.

The event is being organised by the Ayrshire Commercial Vintage Vehicle Club.

A meeting is being held in the village today (Thursday) at The Dashers' Den to see how parking arrangements can be made for them.
