Refusal to Renew Membership!

STRANRAER Football Club have refused to renew the membership of a man who branded their management committee "rotten to the core".

Tommy Rice, whose father Tommy was at the centre of the club's Lottery ticket controversy, made his attack at the annual general meeting.

Now the club have refused to renew his membership.

Tommy discovered he was no longer welcome when his brother Robert went to the home of the club secretary Graham Rodgers to renew both subscriptions.

Robert continues to be a member. His brother's £5 membership sub was returned to him. Reason given was the committee took exception to the "rotten to the core" remark.

Tommy has now written to the committee expressing his dismay at their decision.
