Third
Series for 2000 Acres
TELEVISION
CREWS are set to return to The Rhins in just a few months,
the"Free Press" can reveal.
BBC
chiefs are expected to give the nod soon to a third series
of the hit programme "Two Thousand Acres of Sky"
This
would see cast and crew return to their adopted home of Portlogan
shortly afterwards and, if all goes to plan, filming of the
new episodes could begin as soon as this summer.
The
show is commissioned by the BBC from London-based programme
makers Zenith Productions Limited.
This
week, both the BBC and Zenith were remaining tight-lipped
about the prospect of a third series.
However,
the "Free Press" understands that it is not BBC
policy to confirm a follow-up series until the present one
is finished. With two episodes of the current series left
it will be a few weeks at least before an official announcement
on a third series is likely to be made.
