SKODA HELP TO DELIVER ROAD SAFETY MESSAGE

LESWALT car dealer South West Skoda have teamed up with the local constabulary to help drive home their road safety message.

For the car dealers have loaned the police a brand-new Skoda Fabia Sdi Estate to help Road Safety Officer Linda Haswell travel the length and breadth of the area to hold talks with local communities.

The three-month deal follows an identical partnership which successfully took place in the summer of 1997.

And with more vehicles than ever on our roads, the Road Safety Officer is grateful for the company's assistance. Mrs Haswell said:

"This car will be used to travel around Galloway to give road safety education a very important part of our remit".
