Motorbikes back in Dunragit SCOOTER and motorbike distribution is returning to Dunragit.
And one of the
men behind the venture is Steve Reynolds who built up the
Aprilia business
to an organisation employing more than 40 people.
The new
venture, ISE
Distribution, started up this week. And Steve told the Free
Press that
they were hoping to build up the workforce to 20 "very quickly".
Behind the
venture are Steve and partners Eric McFarlane and Ian Newton.
At present
they, their wives and four other staff, are running the business
in part of
the former Nestle Creamery.
They
have already signed deals to distribute
Daelin scooters and motorcycles from Seoul in South Korea
the first batch
are already being shipped to this country and will arrive
in Dunragit at the
end of the month and they are the European distributorship
for a range of
Chinese equipment the bikes and scooters are going through
European
Union-type approval testing in Shanghai.
Talks
are also taking place which
will see ISE Distribution handling scooters and motorbikes
for two
Continental manufacturers. |
