Local Furniture Project on Border TV

STRANRAER Furniture Project will feature on a Border Television documentary on Sunday afternoon on the impact of the Internet within rural life.

It's for Life will focus on the four computers the project were provided with under the Scottish Executive Open Scotland programme for use in the community. All have internet access.

The programme examines what impact the computers have on the project and the community and also offers an insight into the valuable work undertaken by volunteers and trainees who contribute to the regeneration of their community.

The programme will be broadcast on Sunday at 12.30 pm.
