TV Stars for the Day
PORTPATRICK pals Freya Stewart and Fraser Fulton were the
envy of their
school mates last week - after they became TV stars for
the day.
The youngsters appeared on BBC Scotland's The Edge -
a ten week series
which examines life in coastal villages, towns and cities
around Britain.
Freya (9) of Killantringan Lighthouse and
Fraser (10) of Colonel Street,
Portpatrick were chosen by producers to become ambassadors
for the South
Rhins after a short telephone interview.
To their dismay though,
both missed last Wednesday's
10-minute programme
because it was broadcast on BBC Digital, which neither of
them have at home.
It was not until their teacher brought
a recorded version into school the
next day that they caught a glimpse of their moment of
fame.
Nevertheless both had great fun making the programme.
