Waterfront Investigations
INVESTIGATIONS will get under way at Stranraer's
former Marine Lake, on
Monday to assess the site condition and examine options
for redevelopment.
A drilling rig will begin work early
next week with the results likely to be
known by the end of October.
This is part of the ongoing
preliminary investigations taking place on
Stranraer waterfront, to identify opportunities for development
when Stena
Line leave.
Scottish Enterprise Dumfries and Galloway have
confirmed that Raeburn
Drilling and Geotechnical Ltd. will start work on site
next week.
